Sometimes life is hard. There are days that it seems like so much crap flies at me, I can barely keep my head above water. On days like this, it takes everything I’ve got just to survive the day. Recently a friend of mine challenged me to create affirmations, and I can’t tell you the difference this has made in how I tackle my days. This person is someone I admire and look up to, so, even though I have always thought affirmations were pretty cheesy, I took the challenge.
BOY WAS I WRONG! Just writing my affirmations was completely cathartic.
Thinking of who I wanted to actually BE 5 years from now; what my life would look like completely–body, healthy, finances, family, career… literally EVERYTHING. Well, it was simply amazing. I have been reading these affirmations daily now for a few days and it has made me feel BULLETPROOF. I strongly recommend that you take this on. You don’t have to create an entire page-long manuscript of affirmations like I did. It could be a couple sentences. Basically, you just need to capture the person you want to be in the future you want to create. And then, SAY IT EVERY MORNING. You will feel like a real CHAMPION… and dare I say… BULLETPROOF.
