the missing piece.

Popular self-help gurus and what is often labelled “new age thinking” get a bad rap from Christians around the world.  Many pastors mistakenly think that productivity tools like The Law of Attraction are practically heresy.  As a devout Christian, I can tell you they are wrong.  Everything you need to know, including productivity tools (which have been reframed to fit into pop culture) is God-breathed from the Bible.

I have often said that I can help clients who are non-believers get about 75% satisfied, happy and fulfilled in life, but Jesus has to take them the rest of the way.  For me, He and the Bible are the missing piece for a fully-realized life.  Now obviously, not everyone believes what I believe.  My coaching is personally faith-based.  That doesn’t mean that I preach to my clients or even talk about scripture.  What it means is that I believe that God has made each of us for a specific purpose; that we each have unique God-bestowed gifts that are to be actualized and contributed in our communities.  The gift He has given me is helping others fulfill what Oprah has coined as your “best life.”  If you are a Christian, more power to you, and where appropriate, the Bible might figure into your coaching.  If you are not a Christian, I will pray for you, I will support and love you and I will help you use every tool at your disposal to create an amazing life.  My personal mission in life is to help actualize heroes.  I look to God to help me get you there, whether or not you do, is your choice.  My new blog  and course schedule will be located on the same site as my regular blog.  In addition to my regular offerings, I will have a set of courses and book studies that are faith-based; all of this kicks off beginning the first of the year.  This new work will connect my productivity curriculum to the Bible for those clients and readers that want that 25%… that want to build on God’s plan for them.  God will work in your life, all you have to do is ask.

I am constantly directed by my life verse from the Bibile:  2 Timothy 1:6-7 

For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. ⁷ For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

I believe that every person is a hero, some are at work; some are still waiting.  Which one are you and how could the Holy Spirit set your life aflame?
