The one thing that is true about this process is that it is a total roller coaster. This morning I got up and I’m feeling great! I’ve been intermittent fasting so I have tons of energy and I put on clothes that make me feel great. On top of that, I actually LOOK GREAT.
When you weigh 351 pounds there are a lot of things you DON’T HAVE: energy, stamina, A WAIST, the ability to see your toes when you are standing straight… so many new experiences are opening to me as I continue to lose weight. And, today, I can see my toes for the first time in a really long time. It’s exhilarating.
But I need to remember that with this high, inevitably there will be a low. I’m constantly reminding myself that this is a roller coaster and I’m going to be on it for 50+ more days. So, the only option for me is to throw up my hands and enjoy the ride.
